AACT’s Aviation Academy continues to provide students with a premier, career-focused pathway as Northern Nevada’s first program of its kind. Students build a strong foundation in aviation safety, history, systems, and technology while gaining hands-on experience with aircraft structures, flight simulators, aeronautical charts, and airspace communication. Opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications further prepare students for a wide range of aviation and aerospace careers.

The success of the Aviation Academy is strengthened through an outstanding partnership with the Gillemot Foundation and the WCSD Career and Technical Education Department. Together, these collaborations ensure students have access to high-quality instruction, industry-aligned curriculum, and meaningful real-world experiences that position them for success in this high-demand field.
