Proposal- Due in English Class September 6th

1st Advisor Meeting Deadline to meet with your advisor: October 4
JSL Advisor chosen by committee Capstone Advisor- CTE Instructor
Go over proposal and develop a plan with 3-5 steps to begin project.
2nd Advisor Meeting November 8
Check in. Students should have turned proposal into an introductory page for their portfolio, consisting of a brief description of the project, goals, and a schedule with at least five accountable steps with dates.
3rd Advisor Meeting December 6
Identify students who need to change direction before semester ends
Guide students who need to get things done over winter break.
Spring Semester
Advisor Check-in January 31st
Identify any red flags: Find students that need to do alternative research projects.
Project Hours Due May 2nd
Check in and verify hours
Final Advisor Meeting May16th
Portfolio and Capstone Presentation Check
